School of Hard Knocks, a Calgary Mixed Martial Arts promotion company has adopted KidSport Calgary as an official charity partner.
Backed by wrestling Olympian and Calgarian Ari Taub, 50 per cent of the proceeds from two upcoming MMA events HK27 and HK28 have been committed to KidSport Calgary.
Taub says every kid deserves the opportunity to play and believes through organized sport, kids learn important life lessons like co-operation, team work, friendship and commitment.
HK27 will be held at the Subway Soccer Centre in the southeast on Friday September 7th while HK28 is set for Friday October 26th.
