Bill Diprose did something that perhaps not many his age would think of doing; he competed in the running of the bulls in Strathmore.

He’s 70 years old, and the former electrician with the Calgary Board of Education sported blue jeans and gus-style cowboy hat while taking part.

He got the idea after watching his nephew Kaden Flowers give it a shot the year before.

The family of Diprose openly told him he was nuts, thinking he was too old for it, but they were still there to support him in the stands.

Diprose tells the Calgary Herald he’s already looking forward to next year.
