A look at war through art is on display at the military museum.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation, “A Brush with War” highlights Canada’s personal, dramatic and poignant involvement in conflict since the second world war.
The founders’ gallery at the Military Museum is featuring the exhibit, which includes military art from Korea to Afghanistan.
Author and Curator of the War Museum Laura Brandon tells 660News this exhibit is an inside glimpse of war through art starting with the Cold War.
“There’s a lot of history, a lot of experiences represented there and these artists have all been witnesses to history as it happened” says Brandon.
The exhibit will last until at least late October, but could be extended into November.
