A Calgary-based technology startup is getting a big boost from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
The American business mogul invested an undisclosed amount of cash in eThor a software company that has developed technology to connect any local business’s check-out system to a website or mobile app.
The software will help customers connect to businesses without actually visiting the store.
Founder and CEO of eThor, Gary Ziegler tells the Calgary Herald the investment is very exciting and he will use it to hire more people and expand their partnership base.
