The Calgary Board of Education is helping 30 Japanese English teachers brush up on the language for a week.
The teachers, from English schools throughout Japan, are backed by the motor company Yamaha and will participate in workshops for pronunciation and music development.
The Calgary Herald reports there is a huge push for conversational-type English in Japan and with that; the need for decent instructors.
