Another near disaster on Calgary waterways after six rafters had to be rescued on the Bow River.
Just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday, fire crews responded to the water near the Edworthy Park bridge after reports of an overturned inflatable raft and six adults in the river.
Fortunately, the rafters were rescued and safely transported to shore; one woman was treated by EMS.
Reports indicate everybody was wearing a lifejacket.
