A self-confessed bank robber who turned himself in to Calgary police will be put behind bars, despite saying he’s sorry.
Paul Przybyla has been sentenced to two years in jail after confessing to the City Bank robbery in May 2010.
Przybyla wasn’t even a suspect.
A judge tells The Calgary Sun despite his extreme remorse, the crime led to a drug and alcohol bender and a sentence served in the community can’t be justified.
He’ll spend 12 months in jail, after credit for time already served.
