A multi-million dollar art collection has a new home in Calgary, but it could be hard to find.
The city won’t disclose where the $1.2-million warehouse is because of security reasons, but says it has climate control, air filtration, better security and space to allow the collection to expand.
The coordinator of the city’s public art program tells The Calgary Herald the need to house the city-owned artwork, worth about $5-million, was imperative and has been in the works since 2005.
