After sitting vacant for more than ten years, the historic Bank of Montreal building downtown is undergoing a massive, multi-million dollar restoration.
Space is available for retail on the main floor and mezzanine, while office space is targeted for the third and fourth floors, according to the Calgary Herald.
The building’s restoration will also include a rooftop patio for office tenants.
A & B Sound was the last business in the building, which was built in 1931.
The president of Taurus Property Group says the facility offers a unique opportunity for a retailer who wants to establish a flagship location with instant presence and plenty of history.
The cornerstone building is located on Stephen Avenue Walk at 140-8th Ave., S.W.
