It’s Friday the 13th, and for the superstitious, it’s a day to be extra careful.

That could be a tall order for people who make a living tempting large bulls to come their way.

660News spoke to rodeo stars who have their fingers and toes crossed, but the best rodeo clown in the business says he’s not as superstitious as some of the others.

Flint Rasmussen admits there is one golden rule he does live by.

“I never put my cowboy hat on the bed. I learned that young; that you’re not supposed to put your hat on the bed and I have no idea what’ll happen if I do,” he said.

Still, as the seasoned barrel man gets set to tease and taunt four legged beasts that out way him by a couple thousand pounds, a reminder of Friday’s date didn’t seem to bring any comfort.

“Is today Friday the 13th? I didn’t even know and now it’s on my mind.”
