Calgary West MP Rob Anders is once again making headlines.
The Conservative is blasting his own government over a funding decision made back in 2009; $2.5-million was given to help build a visitor centre in Gravenhurst, Ontario honouring Norman Bethune.
Bethune was a doctor and supporter of the Mao Zedong Communist Regime in China that killed millions of people.
He died tending to Mao’s soldiers on the battlefield in 1930.
Anders tells Post Media, “it’s just sad”, and “it rubs people the wrong way.”
Over 1,000 people a day head to the visitor centre during peak seasons.
