Attendance at the Stampede Thursday blew the old record for day seven out of the water.

More than 142,000 people passed through the turnstile.

It’s an increase of 43,000 from the same day last year and more than 25,000 higher than the previous record for the day set in 1998.

So far, 974,759 people have taken in the centennial edition of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
