Semafo Inc. (TSX:SMF). Miner. Down 96 cents, or 22.07 per cent, at $3.39 on 10,543,675 shares.

Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX:IVN.RT). Miner. Down 18 cents, or 30 per cent, at 42 cents on 8,063,903 shares.

Progress Energy Resources Corp. (TSX:PRQ). Oil and gas. Down four cents, or 0.2 per cent, at $20.06 on 7,694,459 shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Transportation equipment. Down 15 cents, or 3.74 per cent, at $3.86 on 6,991,624 shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up three cents, or 0.2 per cent, at $15.01 on 5,095,993 shares.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Miner. Down 49 cents, or 1.37 per cent, at $35.17 on 4,371,686 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (1,169.19 down 23.59 points):

Zodiac Exploration Inc. (TSXV:ZEX). Down 0.5 cents, or 14.29 per cent, at three cents on 4,634,310 shares.

Poynt Corp. (TSXV:PYN). Internet service provider. Up one cent, or 40 per cent, at 3.5 cents on 4,017,486 shares.

Companies reporting major news:

TMX Group Inc. (TSX:X). Stock Exchange. Up 20 cents, or 0.41 per cent, at $49.05 on 2,200,641 shares. TMX Group chief executive Tom Kloet will remain in charge of the company that runs the Toronto Stock Exchange, Maple Group Acquisition Corp. said Thursday as it appeared set to complete its takeover.

Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX:CJR.B). Media. Down $1.15, or 4.91 per cent, at $22.25 on 285,210 shares. Corus’ shares dropped sharply Thursday after the company’s third-quarter revenue came in below market expectations. The shares are about where they were trading until they jumped higher on March 16 after BCE Inc.’s blockbuster takeover deal for Astral Media (TSX:ACM.A).
