The Fire Department has lifted the river advisories on the Bow and Elbow Rivers.

Everyone on the water must have a life jacket, and boats or rafts should have a sounding device, like a whistle, a throw-bag and a bailer.

Fire officials also say only advanced and expert rafters should attempt to go through Harvie Passage, and should be wearing helmets and life jackets.

The Fire Department will continue to monitor the water level.
