The City is holding a public meeting Wednesday to review its billboard and digital signs in the city.
Signs on private property are regulated by Calgary’s land use bylaw and the rules are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they still fit the needs of both businesses and the community.
The City has had a long-standing policy of trying to minimize the impact of signs near residential areas, on major thoroughfares and on entranceways into the city.
The City has been welcoming public input into the signage review process since 2010.
The meeting starts at 9:30 am at the Engineering Traditions Committee Room at Old City Hall.
