Crews battled a house fire Monday evening in the northwest after being called to a home in Brentwood.
Calgary Fire Battalion Chief Larry Fisher tells 660News, what they found at the scene:
“About six o’clock this evening Calgary fire were called to reports of a house fire in the 300 block of Northmount Drive. On arrival, we encountered heavy smoke and flames emanating out of at least three sides of the building.”
There were no injuries. The only person in the home was already outside when fire crews arrived.
Fisher added crews went door to door with warnings, after heavy smoke billowed out to nearby homes to the west.
