It’s a busy ten days for the Stampede Caravan Committee.

They host 14 Stampede breakfasts where Ruth Ann Rayner says they will serve up tens of thousands of plates in the next week and a half.

“And just to let you know, 200,000 pancakes is enough batter to fill an olympic sized swimming pool,” she says.

Their first breakfast was held Saturday morning at Marlborough Mall where hundreds of people lined-up to get their hands on free grub.

Many of the younger attendees were there for more than the food as there were games and even a petting zoo.

Daniel is visiting the Stampede from Austrailia.

“I’m just trying to get involved, have a look around and see what’s going on,” he says.
