No one was hurt after a roof collapse at a Mac’s store in the southwest near Glenmore Park.
The fire department’s confined space rescue team was put into action at the store in the 4000 block of 50th Avenue S.W.
The building was evacuated while fire crews determined the safety of the structure.
The aerial ladder truck was used to look at the convenience store from the top.
Cracks were spotted in the roofing material and sagging was seen near a heating and air conditioning unit.
The store was cordoned off and inspectors are going over the scene evaluating the building and determine what repairs need to be made.
