The recent warm weather isn’t just good for jogging; it’s also apparently good for criminals.
Calgary Police report home break-ins have been on the rise over the past month as thieves take advantage of open or unlocked windows and doors.
They tell the Calgary Sun it’s been particularly bad in the northeast neighbourhoods of Coral Springs and Monterey Park where thieves are targeting cash and jewelry.
Police are reminding people to lock their windows and doors when they head out for the day as many of these robberies occur during daylight hours.
