Rocky View County will host the premiere of a movie officials have termed “a cinematic masterpiece” in order to help draw business to the County.

The Rocky View Advantage is an eight-minute film that provides an overview of farming, agriculture and construction in the region and was filmed professionally by a company that specializes in aerial high definition videos.

Rocky View’s Economic Development Manager David Kalinchuk wouldn’t disclose to 660News the cost to make the film, but did say because of the County’s strategic partnerships, they paid a lot less than usual.

A private showing is set for February 29th during a breakfast event that will take place at CrossIron Mills, and will begin with a speech from Reeve Rolly Ashdown.

The movie will then be available for public viewing on YouTube in March.
