Parks Canada is shutting down an area of Banff National Park because it’s a seasonal feeding ground for hungry bears.

The parking lot and pit at the junction of the Great Divide Route and Lake Louise Drive has become a popular feeding ground for bruins.  

The temporary closure will continue as long as the bears continue to return for food.
