The Truth and Reconciliation Committee has come out with a handful of announcements, including upcoming hearing dates in the country’s north, proposals for a commemoration initiative and a forum for the creation of a National Research Centre.

It’s going to be bigger than ever — that’s because it’s the 20th annual Women’s Memorial March in Vancouver and preparations are underway for the Valentine’s Day event.

Tsuu T’ina First Nation and the University of Calgary have teamed up to deliver a language program to community members.

Mi’kmaq artist Roger Simons is being celebrated with a retrospective of his work at the Klu’Skap Gallery in Moncton.
