Canadians okay with increased airport security measures, new poll suggests

A new poll suggested a national day of air-screening rage, like the one that drew barely a whimper of protest in the U.S., would likely elicit an even bigger yawn in Canada.

Barely 10 per cent of respondents to a Canadian Press Harris-Decima survey expressed dissatisfaction with airport security measures in Canada.

The Harris-Decima telephone survey between November 25th and 29th found that two in three respondents felt security processes have struck a good balance.
