RCMP report suspicious death

RCMP in Stony Plain have charged a 38-year-old man with murder after discovering the body of an elderly man on a rural property.
RCMP in the town west of Edmonton found the victim dead when responding to reports of an assault.
The cause of death and the victim’s name will likely be released following an autopsy tomorrow.
‘Kevin Michalchuk is charged with second degree murder.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Wednesday.
