Pulwicki family releases statement

A Calgary mother killed in a hit-and-run Sunday morning is being described by her family as a beautiful and caring woman.

Margaret Pulwicki was traveling in a vehicle with her husband and teenage son when it was struck by a truck that ran a red light.

Margaret’s family says the 58-year-old Polish immigrant had a Master of Science degree in Mathematics, and a long career as a computer programmer.

They say she loved camping, hiking and skiing.

Margaret’s husband was also injured in the crash.
